YouTube vlogger Emman Nimedez passes away after battle with leukemia

August 17 ------ Filipino YouTube vlogger Emman Nimedez has passed away on Sunday, August 16, after battling acute myeloid leukemia. His passing was announced by his girlfriend Peachy Santos via statement on his Facebook page.

The statement read, "Our beloved Emman Nimedez joined our Creator at 1:00am today, August 16, 2020, Sunday. He was with his family during the time of his passing at St. Luke's Medical Center - Quezon City." "Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support. Funeral details will be announced in the next days. We hope everyone will respect the family's privacy to mourn the passing of Emman. Thank you," the statement added.

The vlogger was admitted in the ICU last Thursday, August 13, because of kidney failure and blood complications. It was in May when Emman announced that he has cancer through a YouTube vlog. Emman was popularly known for his K-Drama skits. His online popularity started in 2017.
