February 4 ------ Pageant veteran and fan favorite Yllana Marie Aduana has finally put to rest the speculations about her return to pageantry, as she is once again set to strap on her heels for another quest to snag a crown. The 26-year-old medical laboratory scientist has been officially appointed by the Miss Universe Philppines-Laguna organization as the representative of the town of Siniloan in the 2025 national pageant.
The provincial organization had earlier mounted a competition, crowning Eloisa Jauod as Laguna’s official Miss Universe Philippines delegate. Rendelle Ann Caraig, who received the Miss Universe Philippines-Laguna Tourism title, will represent Los Baños in the national tilt. Both Jauod and Caraig were present during the ceremonies announcing Aduana’s appointment as Miss Universe Philippines-Siniloan, held at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium on Monday evening, Feb. 3.
Aduana appeared all covered up in a form-fitting scarlet patent leather gown with a turtle neck and long sleeves. She put her hair up in a high ponytail to complete the look that is both prudent, and sexy. She received her crown from Mags Cue, vice president for global and national search of the Miss Universe Philippines organization, along with director for Asia Pacific and national search Arnold Mercado. “I believe I deserve to be the next Miss Universe Philippines because I am obsessed. You know, I am obsessed with infinite possibilities and really excelling in all of those,” Aduana said. “I have this equanimity that is really, really at its peak, and I’ve never been so level-headed. And I’m ready to take on the challenges of being the Miss Universe Philippines,” she added.
Aduana had not been completely mum about the continuation of her pageant journey. While she did not directly acknowledge the then rumors about her participation in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, she still shared social media posts from other pages pertaining to her quest for another title. “She is for the Universe,” Aduana shared a fan post on her Instagram Stories. Another IG post had her using the hashtag, “IHeartU.”
