November 29 ------ The conference championship is the second this season for TNT which is now poised to complete another grand slam heading to next month's Third Conference. In all, its the sixth straight conference title for the Triple Giga dating back to the Third Conference of Season 1. TNT won the champion's purse worth P750,000.
TNT entered a sixth straight finals appearances by edging Barangay Ginebra in the quarterfinals, 19,-17, and then made short work of Pioneer Elastoseal in the semis, 21-13. Vosotros finished with nine points, Gryann Mendoza with six, and Chester Saldua and Ping Exciminiano with four and two apiece for the multi-titled team handled by coach Mau Belen. "Grateful for my teammates for not giving up. This is our only way na masuklian ang ginagawa ng management and coaching staff para sa amin," said Vosotros, the acknowledged face of the TNT 3x3 franchise. "Kudos also to Meralco for not giving up."
Indeed, the Bolts twice had a chance to end TNT's long reign after Jeff Manday gave them the lead at 19-18 with 28 seconds left. But Vosotros split his free throws to tie the game and send it in overtime, as Meralco big man Alfred Batino failed to put a shot at the buzzer for the win. Meralco again took a 20-19 on a Raymar Caduyac layup before Vosotros came through with the clutch winning basket for TNT. Manday finished with seven points in leading the Bolts to the runner-up finish worth P250,000. Pioneer Elastoseal meanwhile scored a close 16-15 win over Cavitex to bag third place and the P100,000 prize money. Meanwhile, big man Brandon Ramirez of guest team MCFASolver reigned as the new scoring king of the conference with a total of 229 points. He won P30,000.
