December 24 ------ IN two years as a leading figure of Creamline's unrivaled offense, three-time conference MVP and first-time Finals MVP Tots Carlos further sharpened what was already a rock-solid roster and arguably the league's best. And in the Cool Smashers' record-extending seventh PVL championship, Carlos was joined by Michele Gumabao (best opposite spiker), Pangs Panaga (best middle blocker), and Jema Galanza (2nd best outside spiker) among the league's top performing aces.
Carlos, however, made it clear how not one Creamline player through the years actively aimed to win such individual accolades. Because for the PVL's most decorated club to date, only one prize matters. So I think 'yung effort pa rin ng buong team 'yung nandoon," Carlos said.
Moreover, Carlos pointed out how Creamline's winning culture through the years has long been built on the squad's composure — one strengthened by the unwavering trust of their veteran mentors. So very grateful talaga kami sa lahat ng nangyari (this conference)," said Carlos.
