June 4 ------ The Japan B.League named Thirdy Ravena as its Impressive Asia Player of the Year.
Ravena, who played for the San-En Neophoenix from 2020 until this year, said it was a "full-circle moment" for him, being the first Filipino import in the Japan-based league. "From being the first non-Japanese Asian in the league to receiving this award, it’s definitely a full-circle moment for me," he wrote in the caption of his post. He also thanked those who supported him in his journey. "Not everyone has to believe in you, you just gotta believe in yourself!"
Ravena recently parted ways with San-En which finished with 46 wins and 14 losses in the recently concluded season.
