MANILA, April 4 ------ It will be Petro Gazz against Creamline in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Finals. The Cool Smashers took the last bus to the championship round after taking out Choco Mucho from title contention, 25-19, 25-15, 25-15, to wrap up the semifinals at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

This marked Creamline's seventh consecutive Finals appearance, a clearer chance for a five-peat, and the team's 14th overall appearance in the championship series. The Petro Gazz-Creamline rivalry is also entering its fifth chapter in the PVL Finals. Before this sister team showdown, Brooke Van Sickle has already predicted that they will take on Creamline in the next round. "Siyempre masaya ako na nakabalik kami sa Finals kahit natalo kami nung game one sa semifinals. Ngayon, may chance kami ma-defend yung crown ng Creamline, then makabawi doon sa Petro Gazz. 'Yun naman 'yung goal palagi ma-defend yung crown," said coach Sherwin Meneses during the postgame press conference.

Playmaker Kyle Negrito took the honors of setting her teammates up, listing 17 excellent sets as Bernadeth Pons (14 points), Tots Carlos (13 points), Alyssa Valdez (11 points), and Pangs Panaga (10 points) all breached double-digit territory. For its part, Choco Mucho still has a shot for the podium as it takes on Akari next week in the bronze medal match. No Flying Titan posted double-digit scoring in their game against Creamline, as Sisi Rondina only lit up seven markers but had 15 excellent receptions.
