November 15 ------ To ensure correct and convenient deliveries to customers, the Postal ID by state-owned Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) now provides address verification for recipients of letters and parcels to individual customers and e-commerce businesses alike.
Described as a functional card, the Postal ID's address verification is a security tool that helps companies ensure that customers are using the correct address for their orders. For online businesses, PHLPost said, the card's address verification feature should build customer satisfaction with their transactions. "Government and private institutions can use the Postal ID to verify a recipient's identity and address. Address verification service is a basic service offered by other postal administrations around the globe," PHLPost said in a statement.
Customers may apply for a Postal ID at PHLPost capture stations across the Philippines. The list of requirements is available at: https://www.postalidph.com/requirements.html
PHLPost also provides Postal ID mobile enrollment services for barangays, businesses, organizations, and events. Related announcements are posted on the Postal ID Facebook page.
