MANILA, October 31 ------ Rain Celmar, who finished as a runner-up in "Pinoy Big Brother," described her 14 weeks inside the PBB house as a "life-changing" experience. "When I’m talking to Kuya, parang I'm talking to God," she said in jest. "Just being able to learn life lessons from Kuya and learn more about myself from Kuya, ang saya," she added. "I went in here as Rain. I am going out pa rin as Rain but improved—one that believes in herself."
According to Celmar, among the lessons that made a lasting mark on her from her time as a housemate was to dream bigger and pursue those with greater determination. "I will continue to be me, climbing up for my dreams and continue working hard. I wanted to be an artist but I never thought it was possible. But after nito, I see it," she said. "I would love to do rom-com. Or P-pop. I would love that," she added.
The second placer said she draws strength and courage to chase her goals from the supporters she unexpectedly gained during her PBB stint. "I've been in the house, I had no idea whats going on. Na-shock ako they were screaming my name when I went out. Crazy. It felt so real. Thank you, Lord, I felt so blessed and grateful for the people supporting me," she recalled. Apart from the life lessons Celmar brought home, she said she also stepped out of the PBB house with life-long relationships. "Grabe, the relationships I established here. May times nakakainis sila but you understand at the end of the day, no, you love them," she reasoned.
