
Metro Manila, September 1 ------ Oil firms announced another rollback of LPG prices.
Petron Corporation said it would lower the price of its household LPG by P1.75 per kilogram starting Sept. 1 at 12:01 a.m. Phoenix Petroleum would also slash the cost of its LPG by P1.75 per kilogram, effective 12:01 a.m. of the same day. Solane would cut the price of its LPG by P1.62 per kilogram effective 6:00 a.m. Petron and Phoenix, on the other hand, would roll back the prices of auto LPG by P0.98 per liter and P0.95 per liter, respectively.
The price adjustments "reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,” Petron said. Cooking gas became cheaper for the fifth straight month.
