Nadine Lustre to those who claim she hasn’t moved on: ‘Naka-move on na kaming lahat’

January 23 ------ Nadine Lustre clapped back at those who claim she is yet to move on from her ex-boyfriend James Reid after netizens linked her new dragon tattoo to the actor. Though not directly naming Reid, Lustre stressed that everyone has already moved on from her past relationship and encouraged others to do the same, as seen on her Twitter page yesterday, Jan. 21.

The actress was responding to one @Desiree92758563 who said Lustre’s ex-boyfriend was still in her mind, after she posted a tweet about “still living rent free in your heads.” “Because no matter how you deny it, your ex is still living rent free in your head,” the netizen said.

“Wala talagang wow factor mga banat mo. Naka-move on na kaming lahat. Mag-move on ka na din sis,” Lustre answered.

Lustre then responded to one @UndinLaostre’s now-deleted tweet, also yesterday. The netizen pointed out that the actress’ ex-boyfriend apparently dreamed of sporting a dragon tattoo. It can be recalled that last Thursday, Jan. 20, Lustre got a dragon tattoo inked on the right side of her body.

“‘Yan ‘yung dream tattoo ng ex mo. Ano [girl], ‘di pa rin makamove on? Anino pa rin?” the netizen asked.

“Tama na. ‘Di na namin alam pinaglalaban niyo,” Lustre replied.

Reid’s name was not mentioned in Lustre’s conversation with the netizen, though some fans also brought up the said trivia about the actor on Twitter yesterday. Reid and Lustre, formerly known as the love team JaDine, were together for three years before announcing their breakup in January 2020. The two have remained close even after their split. They worked together for Lustre’s visual album “Wildest Dreams,” released under Reid’s label Careless. They have also been seen together with each other’s friends and family.

Lustre is rumored to be in a new relationship with Christophe Bariou, a founder and managing director of a resort in Siargao. Lustre paid visits to the island for a few months at a time over the past year. The pair were first spotted together in Siargao in early 2021 and seen holding hands in October last year. Bariou also appeared to have spent time with the actress’ parents in November 2021. They also spent Christmas in Siargao for relief operations that give aid to typhoon Odette victims on the island.
