February 10 ------ Michelle Dee has expressed her full support for her cousin, Winwyn Marquez, in her quest for the Miss Universe Philippines crown. The Kapuso beauty queen took to Instagram to share her excitement about Winwyn’s pageantry comeback. “As someone who has given me so much strength in my journey, I definitely can’t wait for everyone to witness yours,” Michelle wrote. “I also can’t deny that I’m definitely one of the abangers for YOUR WALK!” she added.
Earlier, Winwyn was sashed as the official representative of Muntinlupa in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025. The Kapuso actress said she has been training for the pageant for months now. “I’m really someone who takes on opportunities, especially when it feels right. And this moment is right for me. Kung na-feel ko na parang panahon para sa ‘kin, gagawin ko,” she said.
Winwyn won the first Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines in 2017. In 2022, she gave birth to her first child, Luna. In the same year, the Miss Universe organization changed its rules and allowed moms and wives to join the pageant.
