December 11 ------ 'Black Rider' actor and 'Unang Hirit' host Matteo Guidicelli has added a new feather in his cap after earning his marketing management degree from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation program. Matteo Guidicelli graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing management from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City, the school shared on its Facebook page.
The Kapuso actor and TV host has earned his degree through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation program (ETEEAP). University of San Jose-Recoletos posted photos from the commencement exercises, showing Matteo clad in academic regalia. As seen on the post, Matteo delivered a speech for his fellow graduates, emphasizing "the importance of responsible usage of social media and the power of perception." "He invited his fellow Josenian graduates to be catalysts of positive change," the school also shared. Matteo is the grandson of the Order of Augustinian Recollects brother general and former USJ-R dean, the late chief justice and senator Marcelo Fernan. Besides his marketing management degree, Matteo took up a four-week acting workshop at the New York Academy in Los Angeles and a theater course in Brent International School in Laguna. He also attended Columbia College in Chicago where he pursued a course in musical theater. Matteo is also a Philippine Army reservist second lieutenant.
