Mariners’ Home Annexes IV and V now open to serve Filipino Seafarers

The Mariners’ Home Annex IV and Mariners' Home Annex V establishments are now operational, reflecting AMOSUP's steadfast commitment to enhancing the welfare of Filipino seafarers.

The Mariners’ Home offers accommodation for seafarers currently away from their homes in the provinces while conducting their business in Manila. Whether a seafarer had just disembarked, took up some training, processed deployment certificates, or waited for their embarkation schedule, the Mariners’ Home provides a suitable lodging solution —a comfortable and cost-effective haven designed to meet their needs. The accommodation includes complimentary breakfast and additional meals such as lunch, snacks, and dinner are available in the cafeteria at a minimum charge.

Mariners’ Home Annex IV is located at no. 1839 A. Vasquez Street, Malate, Manila has a capacity of 169; consisting of 166 bunks and 3 suite rooms. The rooms have comfortable beds, fresh linens, and essential amenities, including air-conditioning, to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Recognizing that relaxation extends beyond just a good night's sleep, Mariners’ Home Annex IV provided amenities for seafarers, from communal areas with cozy seating to a cafeteria, gym, game room, clinic, prayer room, study room, conference room, guest lounge, and even a basketball court.

The Mariners’ Home Annex V is at 1263 General Luna Street, Ermita, Manila. It has a capacity of 290, with 287 bunks and 3 suite rooms. Annex V offers a cafeteria, guest lounge, clinic, study room, gym, and theater room to ensure the seafarer enjoys his stay.

Mariners’ Home Annexes IV and V are open 24/7 to provide a convenient and welcoming place for seafarers to rest and relax. AMOSUP is committed to its members, and also welcomes non-member Filipino seafarers who can show proof of their profession. They can enjoy the benefits of staying at Mariners’ Home for comfortable accommodations while in Manila for temporary business purposes.
