February 7 ------ Former Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairperson Liza Diño-Seguerra is stepping onto the international stage as the newly appointed National Coordinator for Asia of the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE).
On her Instagram page, Liza expressed her excitement about her new role, highlighting the significance of representing not only the Philippines but the entire Asian region in a prestigious international organization for audiovisual producers. “Proud to Represent Asia on the Global Stage! Thrilled to share that I’ve been appointed as EAVE'S National Coordinator For Asia!” Liza wrote.
EAVE is a renowned professional training, project development, and networking organization for audiovisual producers. It aims to provide opportunities for professional growth and facilitate international co-productions. The organization also welcomed Liza and other new coordinators in a social media announcement. “A warm welcome to our new EAVE ambassadors! They join a dedicated group of 39 European film industry professionals selected from the EAVE network to represent and promote EAVE in their respective countries,” the organization posted.
