May 11 ------ Currently doing home quarantine in a split level villa at a resort on the island of Puerto Galera in Batangas along with her two sons Josh and Bimby, Kris Aquino reconnected with her followers on social media via a Facebook Live session on her official page on the evening of May 9, Saturday. The host-actress posted details about the session earlier that day along with the announcement that she would be giving away P5,000 to ten of her chosen families as a way to help them in their Mother’s Day celebrations. She wrote that the cash would be remitted to the winners the following day. Kris, along with her younger son Bimbym chose Facebook followers that posted the most touching comments about their mothers during her online session. Earlier this year, the 49-year-old media personality shared that she had been dealing with an autoimmune condition which was also the reason why she chose to go on home quarantine away from the city. Currently staying in a resort in Puerto Galera, Kris admitted she is dismayed at the current situation regarding food and relief supplies in local communities. The Cornerstone talent said during her Facebook Live session that in her own simple way, she can help make Mother’s Day a happier celebration for ten lucky families. “Nung napanuod ko si Presidente na nagagalit siya dun sa nagnakaw pa dun sa mga binibigay sa mga tao, parang mali naman yun, not now, not ever of course but most especially now. Parang yung kunsensya mo naman sana kasi isipin natin lahat tayo mga Filipino at kung hindi tayo magtutulungan, hindi tayo makakabangon ngayon. So this is my way of trying my best.
