November 6 ------ Aside from an individual all-around gold medal, gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo won three more gold medals in the 3rd JRC Artistic Gymnastics Stars Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) shared that Karl Eldrew, the brother of Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, ruled the floor exercise, still rings, and vault events. He also copped a silver for parallel bars. Aside from Yulo, King Cjay Pernia also had a bronze for vault in the event.
The GAP also said the Philippines had 20 medals (12 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze) in the Australian Level Competitions. Last Friday, Jacob Alvarez also had five gold medals and two silvers in the MAG Pre-Junior, while Yulo and the rest of the Junior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team also copped a silver medal.
