December 13 ------ It's another star-studded success for GMA Network as several Kapuso stars and programs earn prestigious awards at the 7th Gawad Lasallianeta. In the entertainment category, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes was recognized as the Most Outstanding Competition Show Host for Family Feud and The Voice Kids. GMA's game show Family Feud was also honored as the Most Outstanding Competition/Reality Show.
Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy ang Kuwento was recognized as the Most Outstanding Comedy Show, with Michael V. winning the Most Outstanding Comedian award. Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards was named Most Outstanding Film Actor for his exceptional performance in Hello, Love, Again. His co-star Kathryn Bernardo also earned the Most Outstanding Film Actress award, while the movie, a major co-production by GMA Pictures and Star Cinema, was recognized as the Most Outstanding Filipino Film. Kapuso global fashion icon Heart Evangelista was awarded Most Outstanding Brand Endorser. GMA's hit drama series Pulang Araw was named Most Outstanding Teleserye, and Papa Dudut was honored as Most Outstanding Male FM DJ.
In addition, the fun noontime program It's Showtime was recognized as the Most Outstanding Variety Show, with Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda named Most Outstanding Variety Show Host. Moving on to GMA Integrated News and Public Affairs, several programs, anchors, and reporters were also celebrated with prestigious awards. The award-winning documentary show I-Witness was recognized as the Most Outstanding Documentary Show, with Howie Severino and Maki Pulido earning the Most Outstanding Male and Female Documentarist awards. Wish Ko Lang received the Most Outstanding Public Affairs Show award, while Vicky Morales was named the Most Outstanding Public Affairs Show Host. GMA's fun morning show Unang Hirit was named the Most Outstanding Morning Show, with hosts Arnold Clavio, Susan Enriquez, Shaira Diaz, and Anjo Pertierra recognized as Most Outstanding Morning Show Hosts. Last but not the least, Born to be Wild earned the award for Most Outstanding Educational Show while DZBB 594 KHZ Super Radyo was honored as the Most Outstanding Digital Radio Station.
