February 19 ------ Jodi Sta. Maria marked another academic achievement after she had the opportunity to present her research paper at a research conference. The actress, who earlier said she is pursuing her master’s degree in psychology this 2025, gushed about her experience while showing her preparation and actual presentation through a video shared on her Instagram page.
“I still can’t believe this happened. I had the privilege of presenting my research paper, The Impact of the NADA Protocol (Ear Acudetox) on the Anxiety Level of People Working in Television Production at the Consortium of the South International Faculty Research Conference,” she said. “Hindi ko inakala na mangyayari ito ever sa buhay ko!” she added.
Sta. Maria underscored that while the presentation was nerve-wracking, she felt fulfilled to have shared her research paper because it is “close to [her] heart.” “Grateful for this opportunity and to everyone who supported me along the way. Here’s to exploring more ways to support mental health and well-being in the workplace,” she stated.
In a separate post by Southville International School and Colleges, it congratulated Sta. Maria for earning the Best Oral Research Presentation award. Sta. Maria earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2021. Earlier this year, she announced that she would take a break from acting to focus on her studies and her family.
