
On December 3, 2024, the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. (FINC) hosted a celebratory luncheon for 79 IMMAJ scholars of Equeserion Class of 2024 and their families at the Mess Hall of the Capt. Gregorio S. Oca Building, Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Campus in Mariveles, Bataan.
The event began with the recognition of guests and sponsor representatives, introduced by C/E Cleto del Rosario. Key attendees from the International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) included Chairman Mr. Toshihito Inoue, Director Mr. Shunsuke Imada, Secretary General Mr. Ryoichi Ikeda, CE Yasunori Takahashi, Ms. Reiko Sato, Capt. Yu Morioka (Deputy Secretary General), Capt. Genichi Osaka (Chief Manila Representative), and CE Masataka Fukuta (Manila Representative).
Captain Gerry T. Chan led the presentation of the IMMAJ graduates and their parents, expressing heartfelt thanks to the families for their support. On behalf of Capt. Emmanuel L. Regio, Capt. Chan delivered an inspiring message to the graduates, wishing them success in their future maritime careers. Mr. Toshihito Inoue, IMMAJ Chairman and FINC trustee, also conveyed his appreciation to the graduates and their families for their dedication throughout their time at MAAP. He encouraged the graduates to continue inspiring others and to face the future with courage, advising them to fear not trying rather than the challenges ahead.
In his farewell speech, Class Representative Gorrex Alfred G. Lim from the batch of 2024 expressed deep gratitude to the parents, sponsors, and supporters who had accompanied them throughout their MAAP journey. The event concluded with a group photo, marking the end of the luncheon for the second batch of the Equeserion Class of 2024 IMMAJ scholars.
