The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. conducted the third batch of training course for instructors known as IMO Model Course 6.09 from 21 May to 01 June 2018 at the JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil Sts., Malate, Manila.
The course was attended by 22 participants from various PJMCC member companies. The course was designed and intended for those seafarers and non-seafarers who would like to obtain the basic competencies of a teacher. This aims to teach planning and preparation of effective teaching and instruction; the selection of appropriate methods of instruction and teaching materials; and the evaluation of the teaching and learning process.
The 10-day course was facilitated by three (3) instructors namely, Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro, Ms. Ma. Teresa H. Inocencio and Mr. Wenifredo G. Sola.
On 01 June 2018, a simple graduation ceremony was held. The elected Class President of the IMOMC 6.09 Batch 03, Capt. Lito G. Ramos, gave a welcome message to his fellow graduates and guests. During the ceremony, the following graduates were recognized for their exemplary performance in the Final Practice Teaching activity of the course:

Lastly, Certificates of Attendance were also awarded to all graduates.
