After toiling for four years at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), the first batch of graduates belonging to the Empriverion Class of 2018 finally accomplished their academic requirements and graduated on May 23, 2018.
The International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) through the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. hosted a luncheon in honor of their scholars and their families at the Mess Hall of the Capt. Gregorio S. Oca building, MAAP Campus, Mariveles, Bataan after their graduation ceremony. A total of 56 IMMAJ scholars representing 28 Marine Engineering and 28 Marine Transportation graduated in this batch.
IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. Projects Consultant, CE Wenifredo Sola began the program by welcoming IMMAJ dignitaries led by Chairman, Capt. Koichi Akamine; Vice Chairman, Mr. Shunsuke Imada; Secretary General, Mr. Toshihito Inoue; Deputy Secretary General, CE Toshiyuki Kiyohara; Member - IMMAJ Training Committee, Capt. Kazushige Sugimoto; Operations Officer, Ms. Reiko Sato; Operations Officer, Capt. Akira Ishikawa; Deputy Secretary General, Capt. Shohei Teranishi and Manila Representative, Capt. Yasuteru Shigeta.

PJMCC Vice President Capt. Teodoro B. Quijano and IMMAJ Chairman Capt. Koichi Akamine gave their inspirational messages to the graduates. Both gentlemen then proceeded to the Awarding of Gifts to graduates with honors.
After the program the graduates received their gifts and tokens and then proceeded to meet their sponsors and principals.
