How BINI bloomed to become the Nation's Girl Group

December 6 ------ Beautiful things take time, and BINI's journey to a blooming success is a testament to that truth. Formed in 2019, just a few months before the world descended into chaos, Aiah, Colet, Jhoanna, Gwen, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey faced numerous challenges. Yet against all odds, they boldly joined ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy and successfully debuted as a group on June 11, 2021. Although filled with rough roads and tough patches, these remarkable women blossomed into what is now known as the Nation's Girl Group, capturing the hearts of Filipinos and fans worldwide with their talent, resilience, and undeniable charm.

The seed of trust blooming into success.

Driven by passion and determination, the girls trained tirelessly day and night to showcase their talent and give their very best to their fans with every performance. Thankfully, their hard work did not go unnoticed. Due to their refreshing talent and powerful performances, they caught the eye of a renowned brand – Coke Studio, who was the first to take notice of BINI’s buds even before they blossomed. BINI's debut on Coke Studio Season 6 marked a transformative chapter in their journey. During this season, they launched their empowering anthem, "Love Yourself." The song, which carries a message of self-love, self-empowerment, and self-belief, resonated deeply with BINI. Mirrored their own journey of perseverance and self-discovery, becoming a much-needed reminder to keep pushing forward and trust in their own value. For BINI, it was more than just a song—it was a lifeline.

Recognizing the tough path BINI had walked to get to where they are, Coke Studio invited two of their first OG and most loyal fans – those who believed in the girls since the beginning of their journey – to witness the magic unfold in the audience. These fans, who had cheered BINI through thick and thin, embodied the unwavering bond between BINI and their fans, who have been there every step of the way, cheering them on every step of the way. Fast forward to 2024, as BINI continues to break through barriers, Coke Studio has dedicated two concerts to the group and their devoted fans, the "Blooms". This heartfelt tribute is a reflection of their journey from humble beginnings to widespread acclaim.

Blooming Performances and Unyielding Dedication

From thousands to millions, BINI’s "Blooms" continue to spread their love and energy, especially at special events like the Dagupan City Bangus Festival, where the group delivered unforgettable performances. Moments like these show BINI that their hard work, perseverance, and dedication are truly paying off. "Blooming" for BINI meant shining even brighter and taking on bigger stages but always keeping their roots grounded and closer to the fans who have seen them blossomed to what they are today.

The best part: BINI is proud to be part of the official Coca-Cola family, making history as the only artist to appear in three consecutive seasons of Coke Studio, from Season 6 to Season 8. This achievement speaks volumes about their undeniable talent and deep connection they share with the Coke Studio family. However, for BINI, this is just the beginning. They promised themselves and their Blooms that their journey is far from over.

Blooming performance

BINI is more determined than ever to continue blooming, to keep growing, and to take their Blooms along for the ride. Every performance, every song, and every moment is a step toward a brighter future, which is what inspired their song "Blooming" – produced for Coke Studio. The group believes that the best is yet to come, and they are excited to bloom even brighter in the years to come. Together, as one family, they will keep pushing forward—never forgetting the love that has brought them here.

Grand BINIverse

What better way to show their love for their Blooms than the Grand BINIverse—a three-day concert to share their heartfelt gratitude with their fans. The Pre-Show was kicked off with fun activities hosted by Coke Studio, where even those who did not win the grand prize took home special gift packs. Steph, a 30-year-old Bloom who discovered BINI during their ‘Pantropiko’ song release, shared how the song "Blooming" resonated with her, saying, "Para po sa akin very timely po yung song nila (Blooming), talagang nakakarelate ako".

Coca-Cola also handed out gifts to those who participated in their booth games and shared Coke bottles with Blooms waiting outside the concert hall, spreading joy and appreciation for their unwavering support. Lyka, 26, expressed her happiness for BINI, saying, "Happy ako (para) sa kanila kase yung mga pangarap nila unti unti nilang nakakamtan." It was a simple but meaningful gesture; a way to thank the fans for being part of BINI's journey and to bring a little extra happiness to the moment.

A perfect way to bring the Blooms even closer to the magic of the BINIverse. As the Grand BINIverse came to a close, the moment was a reminder of how far BINI has come—and how much they cherish their Blooms. The girls and their fans created memories that will last a lifetime. It was not only a celebration of music but of the incredible bond and memories that they have built together. As BINI continues to bloom, they carry with them the love and gratitude of their fans, knowing that every step of their journey is shared with those who believe in them.
