KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, January 13 ------ K-pop superstar Sandara Park of girl group 2NE1 expressed gratitude as she pounced on the opportunity to perform at a Malaysian stage for the first time as a solo artist. Park, popularly known as "Dara," made the night better at Acer's Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) as she performed in front of gaming enthusiasts.
Dara shared it was her first time back in Malaysia in eight years. "It feels so good to be back in Malaysia after eight years," she expressed. "First of all, I want to thank Acer and Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 for having me here tonight." "This is special for me because it's my first time to perform in Malaysia as a solo artist," she went on. To conclude her special appearance, Dara was joined by fellow 2NE1 member Minzy and performed their hit song "I Don't Care."
In July 2023, the beloved Korean star was tapped as brand ambassadress of Acer Philippines, explaining her ties with the tech giant. At 40, the former Star Magic artist continues to be a bright spot, taking the Filipino pride internationally with her performances. On Saturday, it was P-pop girl group G22 which showcased Filipino talent at the said event.
