December 4 ------ Star Cinema announced on December 1 that Four Sisters Before the Wedding, the prequel to the 2013 cult favorite movie will be shown in selected SM and Citymall cinemas. On its social media accounts, Star Cinema shared: "Pwede mo na mapanood ang (You can watch) #FourSistersBeforeTheWedding in selected cinemas nationwide (with safety protocols of course) for that total movie experience beginning Dec. 11!"
SM will show the film in 29 of its cinemas around the country from Dec 11-13, and December 18-20. Citymall will show the film in 9 cinemas around the country. Aside from the selected cinemas, the film will be streamed on KTX, ABS-CBN's pay streaming service; iWant TFC, its on-demand video streaming platform; and IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV.
Four Sisters Before the Wedding stars Charlie Dizon as Teddie, Alexa Ilacad as Bobbie, Gillian Vicencio as Alex, and Belle Mariano as Gabbie. The movie is set 10 years before the events of the first movie, and features the sisters as students who must deal with both family and personal woes.
The movie also stars Carmina Villaroel and Dominic Ochoa as the parents of the Salazar sisters and Clarence Delgado as the young CJ. other cast members include Jameson Blake, Irma Adlawan, Kakai Bautista, Cai Cortez, Joao Constancia, Pinky Amador, Minnie Aguilar, Boom Labrusca, and Jenny Miller. Two young stars — Jeremiah Lisbo and Gigi de Lana — are introduced in the movie. Four Sisters Before the Wedding is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.
