Dimples Romana shares ‘proud moment’ after first flight with pilot daughter

April 16 ------ Dimples Romana beamed with pride as her pilot daughter Callie took her and the rest of the family on their very first flight together in Australia.  Romana gave a glimpse of her “proud mom moment” in a short video posted on Instagram, as she showcased the small plane they were about to board. “It’s our first time flying with Ate Callie today; that’s her plane. We’re gonna go up in the air. So I’m going to walk to my seat, as a proud mama,” the actress narrated.  

In a separate post, Romana shared a family picture outside the plane after their inaugural ride. “We hold our family’s secret strength, the unica who flies through it all and brings us back to where we all belong—HOME. First flight with Ate [@callieahmee] as our pilot! Flew all the way to [Australia] to experience this,” she wrote.  

Callie, who completed her flying license last year, graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Enterprise Major in Aviation on Tuesday, April 15, as seen in the graduation ceremony videos and photos Romana shared on her Instagram Stories. In March 2022, Callie flew to Australia to study aviation at Southern Cross University, where she flew a plane all on her own for the first time four months later. The 21-year-old passed her private pilot license exams in October of the same year and her first commercial pilot license exams in January 2023. Aside from Callie, Romana and her non-showbiz husband Boyet Ahmee have two younger sons, Alonzo and Elio.
