MANILA, PHILIPPINES, March 24 ------ 'Fight fair for once in your life,' the actress tells her ex-husband. Claudine Barretto called out ex-husband Raymart Santiago on Saturday, March 20 over his alleged failure to give financial support for their two children. On Instagram, the actress posted a graphic about parents fulfilling their responsibility without the intervention of law. It read: “Real dads support their children without the law telling them they have to.” She then directly addressed Raymart in her caption: “This is for you Raymart Santiago. Fight fair for once in your life.”
In November 2020, PEP said Claudine filed a complaint against Raymart for “economic abuse” and alleged violation of the Violence Against Women and their Children Act or RA 9262. Claudine’s legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, said that the actor was supposed to provide P100,000 a month for financial support of their kids Sabina, 16, and Santino, 13. He claimed Raymart had not been giving financial support. Claudine and Raymart married in 2004 and separated in 2013.
