MANILA, September 24 ------ After being free to use since its opening in June, the Manila Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) will begin charging motorists using the CAVITEX C5 Link, its operator said.
On its Facebook page, CAVITEX said the following toll rates will apply at the CAVITEX C5 Link Sucat Interchange starting at 12:01 a.m. on September 23, 2024:
- Class 1 - Php 36.00
- Class 2 - Php 72.00
- Class 3 - Php 108.00
The Cavitex C5 Link is a 1.9-kilometer expressway that connects Cavitex Radial Road 1 to the Sucat Interchange in Parañaque. It is part of the Manila-Cavite Expressway and is expected to benefit around 23,000 vehicles per day.
