MANILA, July 1 ------ In a historic moment for the nation's girl group, BINI were awarded by the Araneta Group for being the first Filipino girl group to sell out three consecutive nights at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The achievement was a testament to the group's immense popularity and dedicated fan base, leaving members Stacey, Aiah, Jhoanna, Maloi, Sheena, Colet, Gwen, and Mikha emotional and overwhelmed with gratitude. The special recognition came as a surprise to BINI after their successful concert series.
The members were deeply moved by the honor, with leader Jhoanna expressing her emotions through tears as she reminisced about the journey that led them to this momentous achievement. Jhoanna shared a heartfelt message, reflecting on the support and dedication that fueled the group's success. She recalled a message from director and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi, who informed them that the first night of what would become a concert series was sold out within minutes.
Dyogi had asked the girls if they were willing to add more shows, leading to a collective decision among the members to push through and deliver unforgettable performances for their fans. “Lahat kami nag-agree kami sa isang decision and alam kong hindi namin pinagsisihan kasi we made it! Natapos natin yung three days na successful and walang empty seats,” Jhoanna said.
The recognition from the Araneta Group serves as a milestone in BINI's career, showcasing their impact and influence in the local music industry.
