BGYO brings vibrant new era of music and growth

April 3 ------ Filipino boy group BGYO is celebrating another milestone in their career. At the Star Magic Spotlight press conference, held at Coffee Project, Wil Tower, Quezon City, BGYO's looked back on their journey — highlighting their triumphs, growing presence on the music stage — and announced their new music. The group recently launched a self-titled EP featuring five tracks, including their latest music video, "Divine." This vibrant and lively video celebrates the beauty of love in a fresh, summer-like way.

When asked if they are ready to take on more mature concepts in their next releases, Nate said, "We're ready for anything, and we're also getting older, so we should match our feelings to our music and that it's really us, BGYO." Mikki added, "We've been in the industry for four years now. We have matured when it comes to our music and how we present ourselves."

The members also shared that they are open to exploring other fields such as theater arts, gaming, and acting. Reflecting on their experiences, Akira said, "It was JL's and my first time doing a musical in 2023 with Tabing Ilog: The Musical. Hopefully, we can perform in theater arts again."

Later asked about their thoughts on the rising P-Pop groups, Mikki answered, "We're just really happy with this development. We we started, there were only a few P-Pop group. It's inspiring to see a lot of artists trying to lift up OPM music around the world." As they continue to refine their craft, the members remain committed to telling stories through music. Mikki shared, "More music, more performances."

This year is shaping up to be one of BGYO's most exciting years. With their passion burning brighter than ever and their fanbase growing stronger, BGYO is proving that their story is far from over.
