Barbie Forteza, Jillian Ward, Rabiya Mateo, Camille participate in Save the Children fun run

April 14 ------ Several Kapuso stars participated in a fun run for the benefit of Save the Children Philippines at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex. Barbie Forteza, Jillian Ward, Rabiya Mateo, and Camille Prats were among the participants of the event. They also appeared on stage and spoke to the runners. 

In her Instagram Stories, Rabiya shared selfies with fans and other moments from the event. Meanwhile, Barbie was able to complete the 10k run. 

On her Facebook page, Barbie shared her experience. “Honestly, there were moments when I wanted to stop but I kept thinking about why I was doing it in the first place and it pushed me to finish all 10k,” Barbie said. “Legs are tired, but my heart is full,” the Kapuso Primetime Princess added. 

The actress and organization ambassador also gave a speech to advocate for every child’s right to education, safety, and dreaming big, according to a Facebook post by GMA News. Barbie and her loveteam partner David Licauco signed on as Save the Children Philippines ambassadors in 2024. GMA Network also partnered with the humanitarian organization.
