B.League: Dwight Ramos impresses anew, Ray Parks Jr. stays solid

April 29 ------ Dwight Ramos impressed anew in Levanga Hokkaido’s latest outing, while Ray Parks Jr. continued to be solid for Osaka Evessa in the 2024-25 season of the Japan B.League. Despite their 86-73 loss to the Sendai 89ers, Ramos posted 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal at the Kamei Arena Sendai.
This put Levanga at 19-38, enough for No.5 in the team standings. Also on the losing end was Parks Jr. who delivered 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists in Osaka’s 90-79 loss to the Saga Ballooners at the Saga Arena. Osaka fell to 29-28, but they are still in fourth place in the Western Division.
Matthew Wright and AJ Edu also were on the loss column in their respective games on Saturday. In the Kawasaki Brave Thunders’ 80-67 loss to Alvark Tokyo at the Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium, Wright had four assists in 15:07 minutes of gameplay. As a result, Kawasaki fell to 17-40, and they remained in eighth place in the Central Division.
Lastly, Edu scattered six markers, five boards, two dimes, two rejections, and a steal in Nagasaki Velca’s 87-71 setback to Kyoto Hannaryz at the Happiness Arena. This was Nagasaki’s 24th loss in 57 games, good for No.6 in the Western Division.
