Alden Richards on performing abroad: 'It's a way of giving back'




July 1 ------ Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards is set to spread joy to Kapuso viewers abroad as he joins the lineup of the Sparkle World Tour this August. During the recent Sparkle World Tour 2024 grand media conference, Alden expressed his excitement to meet Kapuso fans overseas. "I really look forward to shows like this kasi it's been a while since my last international show with GMA so excited ako to go to those countries medyo marami nga sila, medyo sunod-sunod sila kung makikita n'yo po. "Exciting kasi, at least you know ang objective po naman talaga natin if we ever do shows like this is to really enjoy and bring the Philippines to our Global Pinoys. So excited po." 

  

Alden shared that he sees the Sparkle Tour as an opportunity to reciprocate the love and support from their fans. "Parang ano kasi siya, it's a way of giving back din kasi syempre 'yung mga supporters naman natin is not limited to the Philippines lang. Marami rin tayong mga Kapusong pinoy abroad that's why we call them global pinoys," Alden explained. Looking forward to the tour, Alden expressed eagerness to connect with fans both on and off stage, aiming to bring joy to the Filipino audience abroad. 

  

Apart from the Sparkle World Tour, Alden is currently filming the second season movie, Hello, Love, Again, with Filipina actress Kathryn Bernardo. He recently flew to Hong Kong for scenes with co-stars Joross Gamboa and Jeffrey Tam. Alden is also part of the cast of GMA Prime's upcoming family drama series, Pulang Araw, alongside Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and Dennis Trillo.
