After falling in the first two sets, Indonesia again dominated the final canto as Alas struggled to score. Late in the third set, Akeyla Bartolabac and Ashley Macalinao kept the national team's chances after securing a hit and a block for an 18-23 count, but an unfornate service error from Aneeza Santos helped Indonesia inch closer to a championship ticket.
A net violation was called on the Indonesian side, 19-24, but a sharp spike from the opposing side secured the Finals berth. The young squad now has a 3-2 win-loss record in the tourney, having won against Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia earlier in the tilt.
