Learning Session on Influenza A (H1N1) at the Workplace

 

          The Occupational Safety and Health Center will be conducting a half-day forum to discuss the recently issued Department Advisory No. 04, series of 2009 “Guidelines on Influenza A (H1N1) Prevention and Control at the Workplace” on 9 July 2009, Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:00 nn, at the OSHC Complex. The forum will deal not only with the essential information on Influenza A (H1N1) but more importantly on the provisions of the Department Advisory on workplace interventions, entitlements and leave benefits for affected workers.

 
          Representatives from management/human resource, labor union, medical clinic, or safety and health committee are invited to attend this orientation.


          Topics to be discussed include: situationer on Influenza A (H1N1), modes of transmission, management of cases, highlights of the DOLE Advisory No. 04-2009 and related issues in its implementation.

          No training fees will be charged. However, slots will be limited to 60 participants thus, registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
