NEW ASSESSORS GRADUATE FROM IMMAJ-PJMCC IMO MODEL COURSE 3.12

Seventeen (17) participants from PJMCC member companies successfully completed the IMO Model Course 3.12 Training for Assessors conducted from 17 to 28 September 2018 at the JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil Sts., Malate, Manila.

During the 10-day course, the attendees were given theoretical and practical exercises on how to apply international provisions concerning the training, assessment, examination and certification of masters, officers and ratings of merchant vessels.  As duly certified assessors, the graduates are now expected to be able to organize, administer and conduct assessments and examinations.

The course delivery was facilitated by seasoned instructors, CE Christopher P. Maambong and Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro.

On the last day of the training, 28 September 2018, a simple graduation ceremony was held. During the programme, Mr. Wenifredo G. Sola, IMMAJ-PJMCC Projects Consultant, delivered a short message to all graduates and guests, and led the awarding of certificates.
